Bopanna crashes out of Surbiton Trophy

Surbiton, Great Britain, Jun 6 (UNI) Indian Davis Cupper Rohan Boppanna crashed out of the 42,500 euro ATP Challenger series tournament for the Surbiton Trophy here.

Arnaud Clement of France defeated Bopanna in straight sets 2-6 5-7 in the second round of the tournament yesterday.

However, Bopanna's campaign in the doubles event ended without playing a match when he, along with his partner Aisam-ul-Haq-Qureshi withdrew from their first round match.

The Indo-pak duo was to clash with wild card entrants Neil Bamford and Goodall Joshua of Great Britain.
