Binga potential swan song will be the World Cup in India

Sydney, May 2 (ANI): Injured Australian fast bowler Brett "Binga" Lee has said that he hopes to announce his one-day cricket swan song during next year's World Cup in India.

"It will be played in India, which I now consider my second home," the Daily Telegraph quoted Lee, as saying.

"I'm disappointed I'm missing the (Twenty20) World Cup, but I'm not shattered or heartbroken or crying myself to sleep. I'll treat this as another day in the office, do the right training and running and everything to get right. There are certain things that are keeping me going and I still want to achieve certain goals," he added.

"The World Cup in India is definitely a goal I want to tick off. I liken my career to music and don't want to finish on a minor, I want to finish on a major chord. I don't want to finish now and will do everything in my power to make sure of that," Lee said.

"Physically and mentally I know I can do it, it's just a matter of getting everything clicking at the same time," he added. (ANI)
