Best therapy for Woods is to get out and play some golf: Faldo

London, Feb 20(ANI): British golfer Nick Faldo reckons the best therapy for disgraced American World No. 1 golfer Tiger Woods is to get back on the golf course with his family by his side.

Woods, who finally broke his silence on the sex scandal that engulfed him last year and made a public apology for "irresponsible and selfish behavior", refused to put a date on his tournament comeback.

"Elin and I have started the process of discussing my behaviour, but I know my apology to her will not come in the form of words but in my behaviour over time. We have a lot to discuss and what we do say will remain between the two of us," Woods said.

"I will return to golf one day, but I do not know when that will be. I do not rule out returning this year," he added.

However, Faldo, who had three broken marriages, said Woods needs to return as quickly as possible.

"Tiger made a complete apology, but it's not about words, it is all about actions now. If Tiger wants to be a family man, get out and play some golf and bring the whole family with him," The Sun quoted Faldo, as saying.

"He has to get back on the golf course to start rebuilding his empire. It looks like being a long, slow rebuild before he gets what he wants and people start to like him again," he added.

Faldo further said: "I'm sure when the guys see how regretful and humble he was, they will cut him a bit of slack. We miss his presence because he brings a buzz to every event." (ANI)
