'BBC to pay 1K pounds a day for Gary Lineker's protection during WC'

London, June 07 (ANI): The BBC will pay 1000 pounds a day for the security of their World Cup anchorman Gary Lineker, it has emerged.

The organization has reportedly been advised by security experts to provide tight security for their top correspondents.

There will reportedly be unseen protection to avoid intimidating presence.

Also, the BBC's 1million dollar glass studio, built specially for the tournament, in Cape Town has already been guarded by fortress-style security, reports the Daily Express.

Police minister Nathi Mthethwa said last week: "We won't let anyone disrupt this tournament." (ANI)
