Back pain forces Kapur to withdraw from Austria Open
Vienna, Jun 9 (UNI) India's Shiv Kapur withdrew from the second round following a recurring back pain at the BA-CA Open, presented by Telekom Austria, at Fontana Golf Club here.
After shooting a dismal 77 in the opening round, Kapur decided to pull out to avoid aggravating the problem.
Australian left-hander Richard Green moved into a one-shot lead at the halfway stage of the tournament with an aggregate of 11-under 131 after carding 66 and 65.
It was Swedish delight at the Fontana Club, with Martin Erlandsson lying at second place after a three-under 68 for 132 while two more Swedes -- Pelle Edberg and Steven Jeppesen -- and Spaniard Miguel Angel Jiminez share third place on nine-under.
