Avinash, Sayeed qualify for finals of Castrol Max challenge
New Delhi, May 19 (UNI) Avinash Kumar and Mohammed Sayeed emerged victorious in the pre-qualifying round of the Castrol Power1 Throttle Max challenge, qualifying for the national finals to be held in Indore in mid June.
Mohammed Sayeed, winner of the 250 cc category, said, ''This event has given me a great opportunity to test my skills against my fellow riders.'' Around 68 passionate bikers participated in the Delhi leg of the competition, which included tests of skills and control over three different courses.
Sayeed said ''The unique feature of this challenge is that its not just about speed, but rather about the biker's skill and control over the bike. This is actually the true test of a good rider. I am very excited about my win and look forward to winning the finals at Indore.'' The event has been extended to 12 cities covering Guwahati, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Kolkata, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Delhi, Pune, Ludhiana, Mumbai, Jaipur and Ahmedabad.
Two winners (one from each category) from each city will represent the city at the finals in Indore.
The all India champions will fly to Malaysia and see the Malaysian Grand Prix along with Actor John Abraham.
