Atwal finishes tied 22nd at Bank of America Open

Glenview, Illinois, Jun 2 (UNI) Arjun Atwal fired one under 71 in the fourth round of the Bank of America Open (Nationwide Tour) here to slip from the overnight tied 11th spot to finish tied 22nd.

Atwal (67, 72, 69, 71) ended the tournament with an overall score of nine under 279.

The Chandigarh pro had a mixed final round which saw him make birdies on the eighth, 10th, 14th and 18th, while he dropped a double bogey on the third and a bogey on the ninth.

He finished seven strokes behind the eventual winner, American Kris Blanks.
