ATF Jr Ranking tournament from Sept 22

Bangalore, Aug 28 (UNI) About 150 players from several Asian countries will be seen in action vying for the top honours in Under-14 Asian Tennis Federation Junior Ranking Tournament for Boys and Girls, to be held in the Bowring Institute here from September 22 to 29.

Talking to reporters today, Institute President P L Vasanth Kumar said that in the tournament, hosted in collaboration with the Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association (KSLTA), players from Thailand, China, Korea, Sri Lanka will feature besides players from all over the country.

The qualifying rounds would be held on September 22 and 23 and the main draw matches from September 24.

The courts were being re-laid for the tournament and of the five courts, one court would be exclusively kept for practice for the participants.

During the tournament, tennis clinics would also be conducted by reputed players.
