At 36, Giggs has the energy of 26-year-old: Rooney

London, Dec. 1 (ANI): Manchester United Wayne Rooney thinks that his teammate Ryan Giggs, who recently celebrated his 36th birthday, has the energy of a 26-year-old.

"He's amazing. His energy, his workrate, his passing and his movement are unbelievable. It's a privilege to play with him," The Sun quoted Rooney, as saying.

"He plays more like a 26-year-old as he's up and down, he's everywhere."

The Welsh wizard turned 36 on Monday, with his 100th Premier League goal helping Alex Ferguson's men to a 4-1 win at Portsmouth on Saturday.

While hat-trick hero Rooney took home the match ball, he is all praise to the vintage player for Manchester United.

"It's great for him to get his 100th Premier League goal. I didn't know about the record until after the game but I'm delighted for him," he said. (ANI)
