Assam Rifles Golf tournament held in Meghalaya

Shillong, Apr 28 (UNI) Lt Col Dinesh Kumar won the best gross category followed by Mr Prakash Pathaw in Assam Rifles Golf Cup 2007 held at the Shillong Golf Course today.

Altogether 120 golfers, including five ladies, participated in the tournament.

In the ladies nett category, Ms Diphisha Shullai and Mrs D Passah came first and second respectively.

Mr M B Phanbuh won the veteran category and Mr Scott Lyngdoh was awarded a trophy for being the senior most golfer and the inspiration for all golfers.

The Director General of Assam Rifles Lt Gen Paramjit Singh, gave away the prizes to the winners.
