Ashok maintains one stroke lead at Solaris Global Green Open Golf
Bangalore , Feb 24 (UNI) Ashok Kumar carded a two-under 68 to take a one-stroke lead after the penultimate round of the Rs 60 Lakh Solaris Global Green Open at the Bangalore Golf Club here today.
Ashok leads with a total of eight-under 202 and by a single stroke from second placed Rahul Ganapathy.
Quite confident about his chances tomorrow, Ashok said, ''I am playing very well but my putting is not satisfactory as I made 36-putts today. However, I won here in 2004 and my game plan is to win again tomorrow. I will bring my best game to the fore and will see what happens.'' Ganapathy is in sole second place after he shot a four-under 66 in the third round.
Meanwhile, SSP Chowrasia carded a one-under 69 and was tied for third place alongside local professional C Muniyappa at six-under 204, while Digvijay Singh, Anura Rohana, Kunal Bhasin and Vivek Bhandari were a stroke further behind.
Abhishek Jha leads the amateur field with a total of 214 after he carded a two-over 72 in the third round today.
