Ashok Kumar fires 68 to top leaderboard in Colour Plus Open
Gurgaon, June 15 (UNI) Ashok Kumar fired super four-under 68 to lead the formidable field with a total of 10-under 134 after 36 holes on the rain marred second day of the Rs 25 lakh Colour Plus Open Golf here today.
The Delhi golfer had carded 66 in the first round.
However the half the field is still to complete the second round and it will resume early morning tomorrow.
Making a bid for his first title this year was Gaurav Ghei as he shot a fine four-under 68 to climb into the second place at six-under 138, four shots behind Ashok.
Arjun Singh (69) and Shiv Prakash (72) were tied for third at four-under 140, while Rahil Gangjee (69) was sole fourth at three-under 141.

He turned in two-under 34 and then added a third birdie on 11th.
A dropped shot on 15th put him back, but two birdies in the last three holes on 16th and 18th ensured a good finish.
