Ashley Cole breaks silence on split: "My life is ruined"

London, Mar 2 (ANI): English footballer Ashley Cole is said to have finally broken his silence regarding his marriage split.

Cole, 29, who spoke from an injury clinic in Capbreton, South of France, was very close to tears as he spoke about being ditched by wife Cheryl on March 1.

"F****** hell, my life is ruined," the Sun quoted him as saying.

"I just want to be left alone - everything's gone so wrong," he stated.

Cole has ditched his wedding ring, grown a straggly beard, and is said to be in a "dark place".

"His frustration is really showing. He's lost arguably the most attractive girl in Britain and his football career is on ice," a source added. (ANI)
