Asab bags double trap gold at the International Junior Competition

New Delhi, May 17 (UNI) Ace Indian shooter Mohd Asab has bagged the individual gold medal at the Duble Trap event of the International Junior Competition held at Suhl, Germany.

Asab consistently shot in the fourties and clinched the gold with a brilliant score of 167 (40+41+45+41).

Meanwhile, in the Double Trap team event, the junior shooters had to content themselves with the silver medal as Australia took the gold with a total score of 356 out of 450.

Indian team comprising of Asab, Sangram Singh Dahiya and Asher Noria missed the gold by just four points, a NRAI release stated.
