Artistic Gymnastics National Championships 2026–27: Mohanty Wins Senior All Around At Bhubaneswar
Day 2 of the Junior & Senior Artistic Gymnastics National Championships 2026–27 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, delivered high-level routines and close contests. The standout result came in Senior Men's Artistic Gymnastics, where Odisha gymnast Tapan Mohanty claimed the All-Around title with 73.433.
Tapan Mohanty’s total of 73.433 highlighted steady execution on every apparatus and strong nerve under pressure. The Senior Men's Artistic Gymnastics field remained tight, with Haryana’s Yogeshwar Singh taking silver on 72.667, while SSCB gymnast Shreyas Chaudhari secured bronze with 71.268 in the All-Around standings.

The host state gained further cheer when the Odisha contingent advanced to the Senior MAG Team Championship Final. That qualification underlined Odisha’s growing strength in Senior Men's Artistic Gymnastics at the ongoing Artistic Gymnastics National Championships 2026–27 and added local interest for the remaining programme in Bhubaneswar.
Competition on Day 2 unfolded in front of several officials from national sports bodies. Those present included Shri Sudhir Mital, President, Gymnastics Federation of India, Shri Rajeev Mehta, Secretary General, Fencing Association of India, and Sanjay Shete, Secretary, Maharashtra Olympic Association and President, Maharashtra Amateur Gymnastics Association, whose visit encouraged participants.
With the All-Around medals decided and Odisha’s team safely into the Senior MAG final, the Junior & Senior Artistic Gymnastics National Championships 2026–27 now move towards the closing stages. Day 2 underlined determination and high standards, building anticipation for the remaining finals in Bhubaneswar.
