Army (Red) tames Indiabulls to lift HT Polo Trophy

New Delhi, Feb 24 (UNI) Army (Red) tamed Indiabulls by seven goals to five in an exciting final to lift the Hindustan Times Trophy 14-goal Polo Tournament here today.

Good horsemanship and excellent stickwork were on display as both the finalists matched each other in the see-saw summit clash. Both the sides went neck-and-neck for the major part of the match but the Army side scored two goals in the second chukker and staved off their rivals, denying them any opening and that proved decisive in the end.

For the winners, Santiago De Estrada (5), Samir Suhag (1) and Tunku Ismail Ibrahim (1) were the scorers, while Navjit Sandhu (2), Satinder Garcha (2) and Akhil Sirohi were the goal-getters for Indiabulls.
