Army preparing for military sports

Imphal, Jul 08 (UNI) To commemorate 100 days to the Games, a run for fun was organised by Red Shield Division at Leimakhong military headquarters here today.

Events like spectacular dog show, tree plantation programmes were organised.

The GOC, Maj Gen TS Handa said, the military world games are conducted under the aegis of International Military Sports Council CISM every fourth year.

This Games would be hosted by India at Hyderabad and Mumbai from October 21 to 27 this year. About 5000 competitors from over 127 countries would be participating.
