AP leads quaifiers

Hyderabad, Jan 29 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh was leading the bunch of qualifiers in the 47th Junior Artistic and 17th Rhythmic National Gymnastics Championship here today.

At the end of day one, Andhra Pradesh gained a slender lead of 0.4 points over favourites Uttar Pradesh while West Bengal were placed third in the cumpulsory and qualification competition.

Seventeen states with over 350 gymnasts are participating in the competition.
