AP cash awards for boxers

Visakhapatnam, Nov 8 (UNI) Cash awards have been given away to district boxers, who participated in national and international events, District Amateur Boxing Association General Secretary G V Ravi Raju said today.

Speaking to UNI here he said, N Usha received Rs five lakh each for international incentives and National Games incentives. While Ch Kanaka Durga received Rs one lakh as part of international incentives, N Swapna Priya got Rs three lakh under National Games incentives.

In the National Medalists incentives for women, A Sailaja received Rs 5,000, while A Punyavathi, P Nirosha and P Lakshmi Latha were awarded with Rs 6,000 each. In mens category, J Bhaskar, B Deepak and S Ramu received Rs 6,000 each while N Chinna Rao was honoured with Rs 5,000, he added.
