Ankita in sight of doubles' glory

Noida, Aug 25 (UNI) Second seed pair of Ankita and Sanaa Bhambri defeated Thai combo of Sophia Mulsap and Varatchaya Wongteanchai in staright sets to win the doubles title at the ITF Women Tennis Tournament here today.

The Indian sisters duo showed their dominance throughout the match, thrashing the third seed Thai pair 6-1, 6-4.

Meanwhile, with the doubles crown already under her belt, it might turn out to be a double glory for Ankita as well as India in the 10,000 dolar tournament, as she takes on third seed Tara Iyer in an all India singles final affair tomorrow.
