Andhra on firm footing against Baroda

Visakhapatnam, Dec 19 (UNI) A breezy knock of 121 by M S K Prasad saw Andhra to a formidable position against Baroda in the Ranji Trophy Elite 'B' Group League on the third day's play at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in the city.

The Andhra captain went for the run-haul with 10 fours and two sixes which saw the team declaring 469 for 9. A nith wicket stand realised 61 runs for the home team.

In reply, Baroda also scored well with Captain Connor Williams piling up 75 runs and Rakes Solanki making 51 clocking a 133-run partnership for the third wicket.
