Ancelotti fails to get Italian midfielder De Rossi for 22 m pounds

London, Aug.12 (ANI): Chelsea FC coach Carlo Ancelotti has failed to make Italian World Cup-winner Daniele De Rossi his first big-name signing.

The new Blues boss bid 22 million pounds for the tough-tackling Roma midfielder, reports The Sun.

But his offer was KO'd by the Serie A club who insist De Rossi, 26, is not for sale at any price.

Team president Rosella Sensi added: "De Rossi is not for sale and will not be in the future." (ANI)
