Amritraj enters semi-final of Comerica Challenger Series

Aptos, California, July 21 (UNI) Prakash Amritraj shocked fifth seed Brunc Echagaray of Mexico to book a berth in the semi-finals of the Comerica Challenger Series Tournament here.

In a hard fought three-setter, the wildcard entrant Indian beat Echagaray 6-3, 1-6, 6-3 to set up a clash with another unseeded Donald Young of USA in the semi-finals of 75,000 dollar tournament.

In another quarter-final yesterday, Young also caused a major upset by defeating fourth seed Alex Kuznetsov 7-5, 6-4.
