Allan Donald's dad dies
London, June 12 (UNI) England bowling coach Allan Donald is due to fly home to South Africa between Tests this week following the death of his father in Bloemfontein, South Africa.
The former South African speedster, who is working with England on a five-week contract, was told his father Stuart Donald (64) died on Sunday morning after collapsing at home in Langenhoven Park.
Donald flew back home last evening to be with his family and attend the funeral, which is expected to take place today.
But he is also hopeful of returning to link up with England again before the start of this week's final Test against West Indies at Chester-le-Street, which starts on Friday.
Meloney Boshoff, his daughter, said her father collapsed on Sunday morning and his wife helped him back into bed. But when she came back from the kitchen she found him dead.
According to Boshoff, her father suffered from a long disease and probably collapsed from shortage of oxygen.
