All seeded boys and girls move to last four

Kolkata, Oct 15 (UNI) All seeded players, including top seed Vishal Passi, moved to the semis of the boys singles at the second Asian 14 and under Tennis Tournament here today.

The other winners were second seed Abhishek Alla and third seed Shaikh Abdullah, Md Azhar.

In the Girls' singles top seed Amrita Mukherjee, fourth seed C Sai Samitha, Simran Kaur Sethi and fifth seed Rimpledeep Kaur.

Simran Kaur Sethi ousted the eighth seed Roma Chandiran 3-6,6-4,6-4.

Boys' singles results of the quarter finals: Vishal Passi (1) beat Nikhil Reddy 6-2,6-4, Shaikh Abdullah (3) beat Siddhant Deka (6) 7-6(7-5),6-2, Md Azhar beat Sumit Nagal 6-0,7-5, Abhishek Alla (2) beat Rajanvir Singh Dharni 6-2,6-3.

Girls' singles quarter final results: Amrita Mukherjee (1) beat Sansita Nandkumar 5-7,6-4,6-1, C Sai Samitha (4) beat Spurthi Shivalingaiah 5-7,6-3,6-2, Simran Kaur Sethi beat Roma Chandiran (8) 3-6,6-4,6-4, Rimpledeep Kaur (5) beat Sneha Reddy 6-1,6-3.
