All India police games to begin from tomorrow

Jalandhar, Nov 3 (UNI) The 57th All India Police Games would commence tomorrow here at PAP Headquarters in various sports disciplines including Basketball, Handball, Kabaddi and Volleyball.

Teams from 27 states and Union Territories, comprising more than 1300 participants of the national and international repute, would compete in the event, Rajan Gupta, IPS, Additional DGP Armed and Central Sports officer, Punjab police said here today.

The opening ceremony would be performed by NPS Aulakh Director General of Police (DGP) and Punjab finance minister Manpreet Badal would lead the closing ceremony of the games on November 8.
