Alan Isaac is new chairman of NZC

Christchurch, Sep 27 (UNI) Alan Isaac, an active member of the New Zealand Cricket (NZC) for the last two decades, has been appointed as the chairman of the board today.

NZC had to name a new chairman after John Anderson stepped down earlier this month.

Isaac had been named acting chairman immediately after John stepped down, and has now been formally appointed chairman of NZC.

Isaac is also a member of New Zealand Golf Board and the Board of Rugby New Zealand 2011 Limited which is in charge of handling the rugby World Cup in 2011 in the country.
