Air Force conducts Water Sports at Kappil

Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 28 (UNI) The Southern Air Command Adventure Cell today conducted water sports event at Kappil near Varkala.

The event was part of the five-day long event organised to celebrate Platinum Jubilee of Indian Air Force, which concluded today.

The closing ceremony was graced by Air Marshal Y R Rane, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Southern Air Command.

Senior Officials, high dignitaries and Air Force personnel were present on the occasion.

In his address, Air Marshal Rane said the event would promote and inculcate the spirit of adventure among service personnel and also the civilians.

He said the Indian Air Force would conduct many more similar adventure activities in the days to come.
