Age-gap not a problem in Gary Lineker-Danielle Bux marriage

London, January 26 (ANI): Retired English footballer Gary Lineker has revealed that the 19-year age gap between him and his wife Danielle Bux has never been a problem.

The 'Match Of The Day' host insists he is mentally younger than his age.

"Mentally, I'm a bit young for my age and she's an old head on young shoulders so we don't consider it an issue. Danielle's in her 30s now so it's not like she's a baby," the Mirror quoted him as telling new! Magazine.

He also revealed that he had met Bux on a blind date set up by a mutual friend.

He said: "She definitely wears the pants. She's got quite a temper and does tell me off."

He added: "We were both single and he thought it'd would be a good idea if we met up. Apart from being gorgeous, I learned from the first date that she's got something about her. She's bright and funny - mostly at my expense." (ANI)
