After 100th goal, Rooney to net United deal for life

London, Aug. 23 (ANI): Having scored his 100th goal for Manchester United, striker Wayne Rooney may soon be offered a stunning new contract in line with the biggest earners in the Premier League.

According to a News of The World report, Rooney currently earns 105,000 pounds a week and is set to get an amout closer to 150,000 pounds a week because of his marquee player status.

The striker netted twice - including his 100th goal for the club - in the 5-0 win over Wigan on Saturday. (ANI)
