Abhijeet Walgude leads Subash Chandra School to victory

Pune, Nov 28 (UNI) Netaji Subash Chandra Bose School registered a 3-0 victory over Rimzs International School in the inaugural match in the boys under 17 Abhijeet Kadam Memorial Youth Football Tournament at the Bharati Vidyapeeth Educational Complex ground here today.

The tournament is to be played on a knock out basis and has attracted a total of 32 teams, including four international educational institutes.

Striker Abhijeet Walgude starred for Subash Chandra Bose by putting them in the lead and paving the way for Ram Bhandari to put them in the lead in the seventh minute of play. Abhijeet himself struck demo a pass from Sunil Pawar in the 32nd minute. Sunil Pawar completed the tally seven minutes later from a reciprocal gesture shown by Abhijit.
