47th Sr National Gymnastics from Mar 10

Allahabad, Mar 2 (UNI) National Sports Academy (NSA) is organising the 47th Senior National Gymnastics championship under the Gymnastics Federation of India from March 10 to 14 here.

These championships will be held in both men and women sections, wherein twenty teams will participate.

Talking to newsmen here today, organising secretary Dr U K Mishra said the winners of last nationals held at Gurdaspur, Punjab in January 2006 would be participating to defend their title.

The competitions will include pommel horse, vaulting table, floor exercise, roman rings, parallal bars and horizontal bar in the men section and balancing beam, floor exercises, uneven bars and vaulting table in the women section.
