37th Junior National

Varansi, May 23 (UNI) Local girl Shreya Shrivastava will be the top-seed for Junior Girls Singles event in the 37th Junior National and Inter State Carrom Championship to be held here from May 25-30.

The Championship is organised by Jeevan Deep Educational Group in association with District Carrom Association Varanasi and the Uttar Pradesh Carrom Association will be held in Junior Boys and Girls Team, Junior Boys Singles, Junior Girls Singles, Youth Boys Singles and Youth Girls Singles sections.

Junior Boys is for below 18 years of age and youth will be for 21 years of Age Group.

Apart from Shreya, Kamna Gupta and Shamama Iqbal are the other seeded players from the state will compete in the tournament.

In the boys section, top seeded Stallin of Tamil Nadu along with statemate Dilli Babu and P Sathish Kumar will also vie for the honours.

Out of the 30 affiliated states, 25 have confirmed their participation besides new provisionally affiliated Mizoram.
