37th Inter-Command Platoon Weapon Shooting Championship

Indore, Mar 13 (UNI) Jammu has bagged the top honours in a combat match of the 37th Inter-Command Platoon Weapon Shooting Championship at the Central School of Weapons and Tactics' Reoti Range on this city's outskirts.

On the Championship's opening day yesterday, Jammu's S K Shukla, Sarojkumar, Shailendra Singh, Hathiram and S K Ghosh amassed 138 of a maximum 200 points. Gujarat -- represented by T N Sangba, S Omprakash, M S Rana, Sunil Shikarkar and Manishwar Mahto -- scored 124 to take the runners-up spot.

The third place went to Kashmir (120) whose team comprised Karan Halda, C V S Reddy, Yudhveer Singh, Bhartesh R S and T B Jena.
