Ukrainian outwits Gurcharan in boxing
Sydney: India's medal hope Gurcharan Singh lost to Andri Fedtchouk of Ukraine in the light heavyweight (8-kg) category quarter-final of the Olympic boxing competition on Wednesday.
The Indian pugilist lost 12 (60)-12 (42). Had he won the bout, he would have assured himself at least a bronze.
