23rd mini-junior table tennis from August 1

Lucknow, Jun 24 (UNI) The 23rd Mini-Junior State Table Tennis championship for Uttar Pradesh cup will be held in the state capital from August 1.

Releasing the calender of the Table tennis tournaments to be held in the state, UP Table Tennis Association, Hony Secretary Arun Kumar Banerjee said the prize money of the Junior state, state rankings and state championships have been raised to Rs one lakh.

He said the first state ranking TT tournament will be held at Bareilly from August 30, while the 2nd State ranking championship will be held at Rae Bareli from September 19 and the third one at Sultanpur from October 24.

The 55th UP State championships would be held between November 13 to 16 in Lucknow, while the inter-district and open zonal tournaments would be held on November 1 and 2 at Mathura, Lucknow, Allahabad, Renukoot and Moradabad.

Banerjee said similarly the national tournament calander would be Institutional TT Championship to be held at Nagpur from August 2, while this time the senior national championship would be hosted by Patna, Junion and youth national by Ahmedabad and Sub-junior national by Vijaywada.
