South Zone Inter-University Kabaddi from tomorrow

Vijayawada, Nov 21 (UNI) The Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU) will host the four-day South Zone Inter-University Kabaddi tournament for men here from tomorrow.

Talking to newspersons here, Tournament Organising Secretary D Suryanarayana said 39 teams from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Pondicherry and Tamil Nadu would take part in the event.

Last year the tournament was conducted by the Periyar University, Salem. Annamalai University won the title and University of Madras emerged runners up, he added.
