Women's Bombay Gold Cup hockey tourney from tomorrow
Mumbai, Apr 28 (UNI) The fourth edition of the All India Tommy Emar Women's Gold Cup hockey tournament will start at the Mahindra stadium here from tomorrow.
The tournament, that will be played till May 7, is organised by the Bombay Women's Hockey Association. A total of eight teams will participate in the tournament, with five outstation teams and three local teams, a release said here today.
The teams will be divided into two pools and will play on a league cum knock-out basis.
Group 'A' will consist of Western Railway, Sports Hostel-Ranchi, Combined South Zone and North Eastern Railway, while Group 'B' will consist of Orissa, Haryana, Resita XI and Central Railway, the release added.
