WHA Gwalior drub Karnataka 11-0 in women's national hockey

Gwalior, Oct 6 (UNI) Riding on Kavita's four goals, hosts WHA Gwalior drubbed Karnataka 11-0 in a leauge tie of the 37th Junior Women's National Hockey Championship here today.

Kavita struck in the 15th, 33rd, 42nd and 48th minutes while Lalrem Rauti contributed two for the winners who led 4-0 at half time.

In other matches, Orissa blanked Bombay 8-0, Uttar Pradesh downed Chhattisgarh 5-1, Andhra Pradesh beat Manipur 6-1 and Assam defeated Rajsthan 3-0.

Quarter-final Line up: Haryana vs Pepsu; Delhi vs Punjab; Orissa vs Andhra Pradesh; WHA Gwalior vs Jharkhand.
