Top teams to take part in Mount Carmel rink hockey tourney

Mumbai, Apr 22 (UNI) Top team like Indian Airlines, Indian Oil, RCF, Western Railway, Central Railway, Bank of India and Bombay Customs will be seen in action in the four-day Mount Carmel rink hockey tournament beginning here from April 26 to 29.

The tournament organised by Mount Carmel Rink Hockey Committee will be held in four sections - men's, club, girls under-19 and boys under-12, a release here today said.

A galaxy of hockey stars including Dhanraj Pillay, Deepak Thakur, Viren Rasquinha, Devesh Chauhan, Adrian D'Souza, Dandeep Michael and Sameer Dad will be seen in action in the tournament, which is being co-sponsored by Indian Oil Corporation Ltd and United Phosphorous, the release added.
