Sports Ministry lauds IOA for IHF suspension

New Delhi, May 9 (UNI) Further consolidating the Indian Olympic Association's (IOA) decision to suspend the IHF, the Sports Ministry today said it would now deal with the IOA in all matters related to hockey.

The Sports Ministry today accepted the decision of suspending the Indian Hockey Federation (IHF) and also conveyed it's approval.

According to the sources ''The IOA has informed us about the constitution of the ad-hoc committee and we have sent our response accepting the decision. From now onwards, we would communicate with the IOA only in all matters relating to Indian hockey.'' UNI RKM AB AS1847
