Orissa eves make goal mayhem with 42-0 win in jr national hockey

Gwalior, Oct 5 (UNI) In a record of sorts, Orissa rained in 42 goals without reply against Tripura in a league match of the 37th Junior Women's National Hockey Championship here today.

Sunkuri Barua scored 10 goals and Roselin Dungdung joined the goal mayhem to contribute 10 from her stick while Suluchana Kishan pumping in seven for the winners who led 21-0 at half time.

Delhi joined the goal torrent in the day with a 28-0 runaway victory over Vidarbha with Monika scoring 10 times.

In the other matches, Himachal Pradesh scored at will in their 27-0 decimation of Jammu and Kashmir and Tamil Nadu mauled Bhopal 22-0 while Haryana thrashed Chandigarh 15-2.
