Namdahari XI beat Bharat Petroleum in Ranjit Singh hockey tourne

New Delhi, Feb 20 (UNI) Karamjit Singh pumped in a hat-trick as Namdhari XI downed Bharat Petroleum 3-2 in an exiting encounter in the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Hockey Tournament here today.

Namdhari surged into the lead as early as the seventh minute as Karamjit scored a field goal.

Bharat Petroleum struck in quick sucession through Amar Aiyamma (11th) and Jarnail Singh (13th) to go 2-1 up but Karamjit fired in his second goal in the 19th minute as the Namdharis drew level.

Karamjit completed his hat-trick in the 60th minute as Namdhari XI emerged victorious.
