Karnataka eves maul Rajasthan 15-0 in jr national hockey

Gwalior, Oct 4 (UNI) Karnataka swamped Rajsthan 15-0 in the 37th Junior Women's National Hockey Championship here today.

PN Shruthi slammed five goals (39th, 51st, 54th, 57th, 59th), including a hat-trick, while Muniratanamma (3rd, 47th) and Krithika (2nd, 4th), KS Sukhi (11th, 27th) scored twice each.

Bollamma (23rd), CS Suruthi (25th), AK Sindhu (36th) and Saira Bano (46th) found the net once each.

In another high scoring league match, Tamil Nadu beat Vidarbha 9-0 with S Rasana scoring four goals.

In other matches, Punjab beat Chattisgarh 4-1, Andhra Pradesh downed Himachal Pradesh 7-3 and Jharkhand prevailed over Uttranchal 2-0.
