Haryana, Jharkhand enter women's hockey finals
Guwahati, Feb 15 (UNI) Haryana will face Jharkhand in the women's hockey final in the 33rd National Games here.
Haryana routed Delhi 5-0 on way to the final, in the first semi-final today.
Surinder Kaur struck thrice for Haryana, while one goal each was scored by Jasjeet Kaur and Rani Devi.
Haryana took a two-goal lead in the first half, and consolidated it with another three in the second half.
In the second semifinal, Jharkhant defeated Maharashtra 4-0.
While two goals were scored by Laurencia Kerketta, one apiece was scored by Anarita Kerketta and Binita Xess.
Two goals were scored in the first half, with the second half seeing the other two goals.
The final match will take place on February 17, while the playoff for the bronze medal will be played tomorrow.
