Azerbaijan hockey team in MP

Gwalior, Dec 6 (UNI) The Azerbaijan women's hockey team today beat the Madhya Pradesh Women's Hockey Academy 2-1 in an inaugural trial match at the North-Central Railway ground here.

The visitors are here for a two-match series to be played tomorrow and on Saturday.

Among those present were state Sports and Tourism Minister Tukojirao Puar, MP Yashodhara Raje Scindia and Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education Vice-Chancellor Major-General (Retd) S N Mukherji.
