Tata Steel to organise Youth Football tournament

Jamshedpur, Jan 26 (UNI) Young footballers from the top soccer clubs of the country will be seen in action in the Tata Steel sponsored Youth Football Championship (Under-19) to be held from February 22 to March 3 at the JRD Tata Sports Complex here on the occasion of company's centenary celebration.

Tata Steel sports chief Sanjeeva Singh has said about ten teams including Kolkata's big clubs Mohan Bagan and East Bengal, Goa's Salgaokar and Sesa Goa, Punjab's JCT, teams from SAI, TFA and teams from Tata steel's projects in Orissa and Chhatisgarh would take part in the meet.

All India Football Federation (AIFF) president Priya Ranjan Dasmunshi would be present in the final on March 3, coinciding the Tata Steel's founder's day, Mr Singh said.
