South United Bengaluru Trials: Date, Eligibility, How to Apply, Contact Details

South United Football Club (SUFC), which competes in the BDFA Super Division, has announced trials to select potential footballers for their Senior as well as their Elite Youth Teams, to be held at the Club's facility in Ulsoor, Bengaluru.

The selection for the Elite Youth Teams will be held in the Under-13, Under-15, and Under-17 categories, while the trials for the Senior Team will be open for all players above the age of 18.

The trials for the U-13 Team will be held on 12th April and that of U-15 on 13th April, while the trials for the U-17 Team will be held on 14th April. The trials for the Senior Team will be held on the 18th and 19th of April.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sachin Badadhe, Head Coach, South United Football Club, said, "The Elite Youth Teams provide a pathway for young kids to make their way into the Senior Team. At SUFC, we give importance to youth development, and this is an excellent opportunity for young kids to come forward, showcase their skills, and make use of our state-of-the-art infrastructure and coaching methods at the Club. Our Senior Team have been the Runners Up of the BDFA Super Division on four occasions, and since our inception, as many as 70 SUFC players have been selected for various Santosh Trophy State Teams."

South United Trials: Eligibility Criteria for the Elite Youth Teams

Under 13 - Born on or after 1st January 2012

Under 15 - Born on or after 1st January 2010

Under 17 - Born on or after 1st January 2008

South United Football Club has participated in several prestigious leagues and tournaments including the I-League 2nd Division, the BDFA Super Division, and the Gadhinglaj United Cup. They were also the Champions of the BDFA 'A' Division in the 2022-23 Season.

SUFC also announced a strategic partnership with Step Out as their Official Performance Analysis Technology Partner. This collaboration aims to enhance SUFC's scouting efforts by leveraging Step Out's advanced assessment capabilities during the trials. Additionally, Step Out will provide ongoing support to SUFC after the trials, facilitating comprehensive performance analysis for the Club.
