Soccer-QPR admit China brawl charges
LONDON, Mar 6 (Reuters) English second division club Queens Park Rangers have admitted an FA charge relating to a brawl during a friendly against China's Olympic side at their training ground last month, the club said on its Web site (www.qpr.co.uk) today.
The FA charged the London club with failing to control their players and officials after the match on February 7 flared into a fight in which Chinese player Zheng Tao was knocked unconscious and suffered a broken jaw.
Rangers assistant manager Richard Hill, who has already been suspended by the club, was separately charged with violent conduct. Seven members of the visiting Chinese squad were sent home and an inquiry launched into the team's disciplinary problems.
