Bengaluru, Feb 13: It was an action packed game week 25 in the English Premier League which saw Chelsea remain at the top of the table even after a draw against Burnley.

Liverpool defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in the headlining match of the game week courtesy a wonderful brace from returning striker Sadio Mane.

The Senegalese international netted twice in quick succession in the first half itself to seal the Reds' maiden win in 2017.

In other matches, Manchester United comfortably defeated Watford 2-0 and Arsenal came back to winning ways by beating Hull City.

Tottenham Hotspur are second in the table with 50 points same as third Arsenal. Manchester United who are six have 48 points from as many outings.

Liverpool 2-0 Tottenham Hotspur

Liverpool picked up their maiden win in 2017 thanks to a brace from Sadio Mane in the very first half. The win keeps Liverpool in the title race as well as in the race to finish among the top 4.

Arsenal 2-0 Hull City

A controversial goal and a penalty goal from Alexis Sanchez sealed a comfortable win for Arsenal over Hull City.

Manchester United 2-0 Watford

Manchester United rode on dual strikes of Juan Mata and Anthony Martial to pick up an easy 2-0 win over Watford.

Burnley 1-1 Chelsea

League leaders Chelsea were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw by minnows Burnley. Pedro scored for the Blues in 7th minute which was equalised by Robbie Brady in the 24th minute.

Sunderland 0-4 Southampton

Southampton thumped four goals against Sunderland to register the biggest win in the EPL game week 25. The win keeps Southampton up in the table while Sunderland continue to fight relegation.
